Pros:
+ New Battery
+ Very Low Mileage
+ Legendary durable straight-six engine
+ Upgraded Speakers and Stereo w/ flip up display for modern Android/Apple Navigation and Bluetooth
+ Recently replaced rear brakes
+ Interior is in good condition overall, save for a few spots.
+ All window regulators replaced and permanently fixed (a big issue with these models)
+ Replaced radiator fan and spark bar
+ Tow hitch
+ Never had check engine light issues!
Cons:
- Front driver's side quarter panel rusted out with some rust beginning on the passenger side (all cosmetic)
- Rear shocks/struts are due to be replaced
- The Jeep has not been driven much recently so there is some rust on the brakes that will rub off in a short time.
- Uninspected due to newer battery, so the car will need to be driven 40 miles or so, but there was no prior history of check engine light issues.
- Tires are in good shape tread-wise, but the front 2 lose air slowly, they will probably need to be rotated.
- The starter works almost all of the time but needs an occasional whack with a hammer (very easy to access from the hood) but it is due to be replaced.
A great purchase for the right person who either doesn't care about the rust or is willing to replace it. Low mileage and a long-lasting engine means you can keep this one going if you're willing to put in a little money here and there.
