Caregivers needed to provide comfort care to end-of-life residents under the medical care of Hospice in our two-bedroom residential comfort care home.
Part time positions for overnights, weekdays, and/or weekends with flexible hours: 4 to 12 hour shifts available.
Practical care and minimal medical care in a clean home setting including medication administration following Hospice plan, May include showering or bed bathing, (no hoyers, no heavy lifting), toileting, meals, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
Physically and emotionally able to provide practical and emotional care for residents in their final days of life under Hospice's medical care in their final days of life. Experience preferred, but not required.
Attend to all physical and practical needs - residents (150lbs or less) may need 1-2 person assist or are no longer getting out of bed. Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as needed for residents.
Records Activities of Daily Living and Medication Administration Management as well as Resident communications.
Dependable character and personal qualities verified through interviews, reference, and background checks must reflect integrity, trustworthiness, good listening skills and compassionate outcomes.
